The Java Users Group is still alive, I have been busy with some stuff so we haven’t met in some time. Go to our Google Group and sign up. Someday when we have something to talk about and some free time we will meet. In the meantime I try to post little tid bits to the group message board. Feel free to join in.

Recently I decided to free myself from the repressive arms of M$ Windows and dive into the Linux world full bore. I still maintain a Windows XP desktop for my family of course; however, some day I will make a full switch.

I have discovered probably the most addictive, and unknown, game in the word called NetPanzer. This basically is a tank warefare game with re-spawning. The goal is to gain control of depots and build more tanks, and you can play against people all over the world online for FREE!!!! Take that Bill.

You will need to run Linux, so go for it!!! Ubuntu had all of the packages already installed by default.
